Ever since I picked up a guitar at age nine, I've had a growing desire to learn as much as I can about the instrument. Coming from a musical background, I always liked the kind of music that my family was listening to. It inspired me to put my heart into learning an instrument and excel. After about a year of playing guitar I knew this was what I wanted to do. As I've aged, I have grown so much over the time I've spent with my fellow bandmates.
As a kid, I would always hear my dad play his favorite playlist on the car stereo through an old iPod. It included acts like Rush, Metallica, Green Day, and Dream Theater. My dad would always tell me, "this one would be a challenge to learn, you should try it! I think you could do it!" so I decided to pick up the drum set. I still remember the first song I tried learning was 'American Idiot', and it was so much fun. I wanted to take things to the next level with my passion, and decided to join a band. We got to know each other, had our first practice, and the rest is history.
